No Timeline for Kevin Martin’s Return
After all the physical therapy and weight training sessions, all the small icebergs that have melted on his right shoulder, Kevin Martin still cannot guess when he will be able to play again.
Day-to-day has stretched to nearly a month, with no end to his long recovery in sight.
“It’s always tough sitting out,” said Martin, who played 80 games last season but has appeared in just 40 this season, missing the last 14 with a shoulder strain.
“Some injuries, you just can’t control. You have to stay positive, upbeat, and hope things get better.”
