The crowded house got a little less congested when Chris Kaman sat out against the Portland Trail Blazers after suffering a concussion in practice Monday.

Kaman will have to pass the NBA’s concussion tests before he will be cleared to play again after taking a spill and hitting his head on the court.

“He’ll be back when his symptoms abate,” Carlisle said. “We don’t know a timetable for it. We don’t think it’s that serious, but these things you got to be very careful with.”
