UNC’s F Henson sits out ACC semifinal
North Carolina forward John Henson sat out Saturday’s ACC tournament semifinal game against rival North Carolina State with an injured wrist.
The ACC’s defensive player of the year, Henson was replaced in the lineup by freshman James Michael McAdoo.
Henson suffered the injury during Friday’s victory over Maryland after he was fouled on a drive to the basket.
He is averaging 13.8 points and a team-leading 10.1 rebounds.
