The Fighting Irish have never looked more bright. Ever.

Notre Dame debuted the bold, controversial Adidas adizero uniforms on Thursday in a game against Marquette. The reaction on social media to the Irish’s highlighter neon look was hilarious. They were called everything from ugly to “radioactive.”

When your team’s apparel gets compared to the McDonalds Shamrock Shake, you know there are issues.

“Looks like someone had a Shamrock Shake and threw up on them,” ESPN analyst Jay Bilas said on the live ESPN broadcast.

Cincinnati’s form of the new Adidas look, although criticized, wasn’t that bold. Notre Dame’s sure is.
