Denver Nuggets center Nene will miss time with a calf injury, says head coach George Karl.Nene, who injured himself in Denver’s 113-109 win over the Indiana Pacers Saturday, has also been nursing a heel injury and is expected to take the next few games off to heal both ailments. He scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds in 21 minutes before leaving Saturday’s game.Nene is one of many missing pieces to the Nuggets’ frontcourt. He’s averaging 13.4 points and 7.8 rebounds this season. Denver faces the Phoenix Suns at home on Tuesday.
