Denver Nuggets guard Aaron Afflalo has been suspended one game by the NBA for throwing an elbow at Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward.Afflalo, who is suspended without pay, threw an elbow at Hayward’s head with 6:32 remaining in the third quarter of Utah’s 121-102 victory over Denver Friday night.Afflalo will sit out Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He’s averaging 13.9 points and 2.0 assists per game.
