President Obama combines work and play on Monday, hosting a White House event for the world champions of professional basketball, the Miami Heat.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and the rest of the Heat will also be recognized for their “ongoing support to the men and women who serve in our military and their families,” said the White House schedule.

It’s part of Obama’s ongoing effort to honor teams “for their efforts on and off the court,” the White House said.

The president, a huge basketball fan, has played with James, Wade, and other NBA stars.

The White House event with the heat is scheduled for 1:40 p.m.

Obama also has lunch today with Vice President Biden.
