Pacers owner pondering Miller for team president
Indiana Pacers owner Herb Simon is searching for Larry Bird’s successor as team president. One candidate in the running is Pacers legend Reggie Miller, who – according to Yahoo! Sports – has been considered for several years. “He’s going to look hard at this, if it’s presented the right way,” Yahoo! Sports cited a source as saying. Miller currently works as a television analyst for TNT and does not have any executive experience. Then again, neither did Bird. A five-time All-Star, Miller played his entire 18-year NBA career with the Pacers. He is one of five Pacers to have his jersey retired by the team.
