All it took was 12 minutes in an NBA game and impressive play in the NBA Development League for Indiana Pacers rookie swingman Orlando Johnson to get his shot in the rotation.

Pacers coach Frank Vogel saw enough of Johnson during the fourth quarter of their blowout loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday to implement a four-man wing rotation against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.

Johnson scored seven points, and had two rebounds and a block during the fourth quarter against the Celtics.

“I thought he looked like he belonged (in the fourth quarter against Boston),” Vogel said. “He looked comfortable out there. He’s been playing really well in the D-League and in practice.”
