Padded Glove Affecting Love’s Game
Kevin Love said he was feeling good after practice today in Oakland, his first contact one with the team since he made his surprise season debut on Wednesday against Denver.
Feeling good because he went today without that padded, fingerless glove that he wore on his healing shooting hand until midway through the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 96-85 loss at Golden State.
That’s when he ripped the glove off and threw toward the photographers seated beyond the baseline on a night when he finished 6-for-20 from the field, 1 for 5 on threes and 2 for 4 from the foul line.
He said last week that expected to wear the padding until January probably to protect that hand with which Love has returned probably two to three weeks early.
On Monday he sounded like a guy ready to play on without it.
“It’s prohibiting me, it’s just not natural,” he said after practice.
