Gasol: ‘We’re finally getting somewhere’
Steve Nash doesn’t seem to be playing with a magic wand out there on the court, but what he has done in less than a week has made it feel like the eight weeks before didn’t matter.
Lakers teammate Pau Gasol tied Nash’s return from his fractured fibula directly to the team’s confidence level, saying the Lakers “just know what to do in the critical times” now.
Added Gasol: “We have everybody back on the floor. We’re working together. Everybody on the floor is playing together. We’re finally getting somewhere. We’re getting closer to the place that we want to be and the team that we want to be.”
