he Trail Blazers’ coaching search has reached its final stage – decision time – after owner Paul Allen completed interviews with Terry Stotts and Kaleb Canales in London on Friday.

After more than a month of interviews with more than 10 candidates, Allen and the Blazers will choose between Stotts, a longtime NBA assistant and two time head coach, and Canales, the 34-year-old former video intern who has the backing of all the key players on the Blazers roster.

Allen, who has a home in London and also has his yacht docked in the city for the Olympics, interviewed the candidates on Friday and is expected to deliberate with general manager Neil Olshey and board of directors chair Bert Kolde and make a decision in the coming days.
