George lifts Pacers again for 2-0 lead

Paul George has a taste for the playoffs.
After posting a triple-double in Game 1, the All-Star swingman racked up 27 points, eight rebounds, three assists and four steals Wednesday night to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 113-98 victory against the Atlanta Hawks. The Pacers hold a 2-0 series lead as the series moves to Atlanta.
The Hawks took a 5-0 lead to start the game before the Pacers took over and never let up, furthering their lead with every quarter. Their effort in the fourth was particularly dominant, as they stretched a 10-point lead to 23 before both teams turned to substitutes.
Indiana guard Lance Stephenson went down hard in the first quarter, bruising his hip before returning. But that only strengthened the Pacers’ resolve. Gerald Green had 15 points off the bench, largely in Stephenson’s stead, as Indiana used a balanced effort to bury Atlanta. Jeff Pendergraph had eight points and seven rebounds while shooting 4-for-6 from the field to help counter David West’s uncharacteristic 1-for-4 for seven points and one rebound performance.
