But the Thunder responded with a dunk from Serge Ibaka and a three-pointer by (Kevin) Durant that tied the score, 98-98.

“When Kevin Durant hit that three, we were all so mad,” (Chris) Paul said. “We just stayed together. I was [upset]. I was going nuts, but I knew we still had the ball. Those are the type of games we’ve lost this season.”

Paul wouldn’t let the Clippers lose, looking determined on the final play.

He drove around center Kendrick Perkins, who had made the switch, and past (Serge) Ibaka and Russell Westbrook for the game winner.

“We just can’t be satisfied with losing,” Paul said. “In those same situations, you’ve just got to leave it all out there on the floor. I’m going to miss some, I’m going to make some. But … when I go out and play, I’m always going to compete.”
