Picking The 2012 NBA All-Star Starters

The 2012 NBA All-Star game is just around the corner and the NBA and its partner TNT will announce the starters for the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando tomorrow.

If the fan voting holds true – and it usually does – the starters will look something like this:

EAST – Derrick Rose (Chi) 1,040,210; Dwyane Wade (Mia) 972,015; LeBron James (Mia) 972,580; Carmelo Anthony (NYK) 779,945; Dwight Howard (Orl) 1,161,797

WEST – Kobe Bryant (LAL) 1,110,379; Chris Paul (LAC) 835,026; Kevin Durant (OKC) 973,152; Blake Griffin (LAC) 619,913; Andrew Bynum (LAL) 777,365

This year more than any other year the fans may have it right, but we asked a few of our NBA experts to log their choices as starters for the All-Star game, the list didn’t exactly match the voting in some cases.

Keep in mind, we asked our guys to choose starters based only on their opinion, so you may not agree.

Here is how it played out:

Starters will be announced live on TNT on Feb. 2, during a special one-hour pregame show at 7 p.m. ET tomorrow.

There will also be a special one-hour pregame show on TNT on Feb. 9 to announce the All-Star reserves; our guys will do the same for those slots too.

Who would you name an All-Star Starter? Did the fans get it right, or did someone get clearly snubbed? Drop your comments below.
