Pistons’ English, Middleton to D-League
It’s not a demotion, although from the outside looking in it might seem Pistons rookies Kim English and Khris Middleton going down to the D-League is some kind of punishment.
It’s just the opposite, virtually everybody in the Pistons organization believes. English and Middleton, the Pistons’ second-round picks from last June’s draft, are highly thought of, and they want to play.
English and Middleton left for Fort Wayne, the Pistons’ shared D-League affiliate, after Thursday’s practice and will play in three games before returning Wednesday.
