All appears to be back to normal for the Detroit Pistons.

Two nights after Lawrence Frank deactivated guard Rodney Stuckey without saying why, the Pistons coach said that Stuckey will assume his normal place in the rotation Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Neither party today would disclose the reason for the disciplinary measure in Sunday night’s victory at Orlando. Both said there was a difference of opinion.

“Things happen every single day,” Frank said. “So with it, you deal with it, and you move on. I’m one of those guys; I put it out there, and we move on. There’s no grudges; you just move from it.”

Stuckey added, “Things didn’t see eye-to-eye, so he did what he had to do. Move on, end of discussion. It’s all in the past now.”

Stuckey, in his sixth season, averages 11.4 points and 4.0 assists a game but has struggled at times this month after a strong December.

The Pistons (17-27) are four games out of the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Bucks are seventh, at 23-19.

Vince Ellis writes for the Detroit Free Press.
