Pistons rookie Singler to remain overseas
The Detroit Pistons won’t have second-round pick Kyle Singler in the fold when they open their season next month.Singler, taken 33rd overall in the June draft, plans to remain in the Spanish League rather than report to the Pistons.The 23-year-old has been playing with Lucentum Alicante during the lockout, but will have his rights sold to Real Madrid later this week.Singler is expected to join Real Madrid next week after passing a physical.The Duke standout leads all rookies in scoring, averaging 15 points per game.
