Pitino, Miller among 12 Hall of Fame finalists

Former Indiana Pacers guard Reggie Miller and NCAA coach Rick Pitino are among 12 finalists in 2012 for potential induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.Miller and Pitino were named first-time finalists along with former NBA coach Bill Fitch and two-time Olympic gold medalist Katrina McClain.Don Nelson, Maurice Cheeks, Bernard King, Dick Motta, Hank Nichols, Ralph Sampson, Jamaal Wilkes and the All-American Red Heads are also up for consideration.The 2012 Hall of Fame class will be announced April 2 at the NCAA Final Four in New Orleans.
