Some confusion about @TheNBPA news release on vote being recalled. The release was sent prematurely but the union does have the votes.
At 3 p.m. ET today, union had 289 votes authorizing it to reform. Needed 260. Press release was recalled bc final tally wasn’t in yet.
This vote authorizes union to complete new CBA with league. Players/owners still must ratify it, which is expected next week
