Point guard Raymond Felton said that he and (Nate) McMillan have talked about him returning the starting lineup. McMillan moved Felton to the bench, putting Jamal Crawford in as the starting point guard, before the San Antonio game just before the All-Star break.

“We talked about it, and he said definitely he was going to go back to that,” Felton said of him starting. “So whenever he decides to do it, we’ll see.”

Felton said the change could come before Monday’s game, or going into the road trip. It’s one he says he would welcome as he believes he is more effective when starting.

“Yeah, I think so,” said Felton, who is averaging 9.7 points and 6.1 assists and shooting 36.8 percent from the field. “Because I’ve been a starter my whole life, and it’s just one of those things where it’s something that you’re not comfortable with, a role that you’re not comfortable with.”
