Report: Bryant, Rondo and Pierce fined by NBA

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant and the Celtics’ Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce have all been fined by the NBA for missing charity appearances during the All-Star weekend in Orlando, Fla, according to the USA Today.Bryant was tagged with a $40,000 fine for not attending an NBA Cares event. Rondo and Pierce were both hit with $20,000 fines for also missing charity events.Bryant scored 27 points in the game to pass Michael Jordan for most in All-Star Game history. He also suffered a broken nose and concussion from a hard foul by Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade.
