The courting of NBA free agents is expected to begin on Monday at 10 a.m. ET, according to an ESPN.com report.

The reports states that teams were notified Saturday that they would be allowed to begin communicating with players – and free agents – on Monday.

The start of NBA training camps is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 9. A 66-game season will open on Christmas Day.

Teams have not been allowed to contact their players despite owners and the players’ union agreeing in principle to a new collective bargaining agreement last week. Players have, however, been allowed to return to team facilities to take part in voluntary workouts.

Tyson Chandler, Nene, Marc Gasol and David West are believed to be the most sought-after free agents.
