Report: G Rivers to leave Duke, enter NBA draft
Freshman guard Austin Rivers is one-and-done at Duke.
Rivers has decided to enter this year’s NBA Draft, according to a report by CBSSports.com.
The son of Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers, he is projected to be a lottery pick in the draft.
The 6-foot-3 guard averaged a team-high 15.5 points per game in becoming the third freshman to league Duke in scoring.
Rivers, a unanimous selection as the ACC Rookie of the Year, had eight games of 20 points or more and hit 58 3-pointers for the Blue Devils.
