Former NBA superstar Allen Iverson will host a four-team Las Vegas Superstar Challenge next month.

Yahoo! Sports, citing sources, reported that the event could feature NBA All-Stars Kevin Durant, Amar’e Stoudemire and Paul Pierce.

According to the report, the tournament will be held the weekend of Nov. 12-13 at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.

Iverson will be one of the four team captains who will recruit players for their squads. The winners of the two games on Nov. 12 will square off for the tournament title the next day.

A four-time NBA scoring champion, Iverson sat out the 2010-11 NBA campaign, playing briefly in Turkey before suffering a calf injury.
