LeBron James to play for Heat despite illness

Chris Bosh might not have to do most of the heavy lifting after all when the Miami Heat take on the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.

LeBron James, who had been listed as a gametime decision, will play despite being ill leading up to the game, according to ESPN.com’s Brian Windhorst.

Windhorst reported earlier in the day that Wade would not play as he heals from a sprained foot.

James wrote on Twitter that he caught the same illness that many of his teammates had in the past week. He did not participate in Thursday.

Wade missed the Heat’s win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday.
