Report: Turkish team pursuing Lakers’ Odom
Turkish club Besiktas is reportedly interested in adding Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom to its roster.Sources close to the team say Odom became its latest target after Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love declined an invitation to join. The desire to add a world-calibre forward became even greater after Besiktas lost Cleveland Cavaliers veteran Semih Erden to a thumb injury earlier in the week.Besiktas already employs New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams, who exploded for 50 points in a EuroChallenge game Tuesday.Odom is reportedly considering the club’s offer. The 32-year-old averaged 14.4 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Lakers last season.
