Robinson the Next Bench Mob Leader?
It hasn’t taken long for Nate Robinson to make an impression on his new Bulls teammates.
“Nate’s a real (jerk),” Joakim Noah said with a smile this week. “But we need (jerks), so it’s good.”
Welcome to the unofficial leader of the Bench Mob, version 2.0. C.J. Watson came up with that nickname to describe one of the league’s most potent set of reserves the last two seasons. But Watson, who moved on to the Nets, was quiet, reserved, behind the scenes.
Robinson appears to be in perpetual motion. Or at least his mouth does. Several teammates have pointed out how well he has played in camp and the energy he has brought to practices.
