Rockets Assign Royce White to D-League

The Rockets on Saturday assigned rookie Royce White to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League.

The assignment is part of a plan the team had reached with White to work him back. White had been away from the Rockets since Nov. 12 as he addressed concerns about his generalized anxiety disorder.
