Rockets’ Kyle Lowry Seeking More Minutes
Rockets guard Kyle Lowry said he still has a “long way” to go to be at full strength, but that he is also ready to take on an increased work load three games after his return from a month out with a bacterial infection. Lowry played 20 minutes against the Jazz, playing the entire fourth quarter for a second-consecutive game.
“I’m just getting a feel for it,” Lowry said. “Coach is getting a feel for me again. I feel I’m good to go and play heavier minutes. It’s not my decision. My decision is being out here, helping my team do whatever needs to be done.
I’m a long way. I still have things after the season that have to be taken care of. I’m just helping my team, doing whatever my body allows me to do.
