The Houston Rockets are rumored to be close to a sign-and-trade with free agent center Marcus Camby, who would head to the New York Knicks in a move that would land a number of players in Houston.

The Rockets are denying the predominant rumor, which would have Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson, Dan Gadzuric and Jerome Jordan heading to Houston. Still, it’s widely believed that the Rockets will work a S&T with the Knicks, who can’t afford to sign Camby outright, as opposed to the Miami HEAT, who have also been after Houston to help them get Camby through a similar kind of trade.
