Rookies pick Anthony Davis at top of class

Nothing quite measures up to the admiration of your peers so it seems that NBA rookie Anthony Davis is measuring up.
The overall No. 1 pick by New Orleans was also the top pick by his fellow rookies in an nba.com survey done by editor John Schuhmann to be Rookie of the Year and it have the best NBA career.
But he wasn’t the only rookie to get love.
Rookie of the Year: Davis, 47.1% of vote; Damian Lillard, Portland, 17.6%.
Projected to have best career: Davis, 40.6%; Harrison Barnes, Golden State, 12.5%.
Most overlooked: Draymond Green, Golden State; Perry Jones, Oklahoma City, Andrew Nicholson, Orlando and Tony Wroten, Memphis, 8.8%.
Most athletic: Quincy Acy, Toronto and Perry Jones, Oklahoma City, 17.6%.
Best shooter: John Jenkins, Atlanta, 48.6%; Bradley Beal, Washington, 16.2%.
Best defender: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Charlotte, 28.6%; Davis, 14.3%.
Best playmaker: Kendall Marshall, Phoenix, 45.7%; Damian Lillard, Portland, 14.3%.
Funniest: Fab Melo, Boston, 22.9%; Kyle O’Quinn, Orlando, 20.0%.
Favorite NBA player: LeBron James, Miami, 31%; Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles, 18.1%.
