Rose: It would be ‘Crazy’ with Howard
When pressed, (Derrick) Rose admitted that it would be ‘crazy’ if he played with (Dwight) Howard.
“I’m cool with the teammates that I have,” Rose said. “But if you want to make up your own fantasy and say ‘Would it be crazy if we played together?’ Yeah …”
Rose was then asked specifically if he would deal Bulls’ center Joakim Noah in a potential deal for Howard.
“I really don’t know what I would [do]. I’m a player. If I was a general manager …”
When asked who he would rather play with, Howard or Noah, Rose responded this way.
“I’m picking Joakim,” Rose said. “I’m riding with Joakim. He’s like a big brother to me. Of course, Dwight is with adidas and everything, there’s no hard feeling there. But Joakim is much more than a teammate to me.”
