Rose Returns to Court for First Time

Derrick Rose spilled the beans himself via his newly-created Twitter account.

A picture of Rose with a ball in his hands at the Berto Center — and his own caption: “Feels good to be back in the gym,” for the 100,000-plus followers he’s already accumulated since first tweeting prior to the men’s basketball Olympic gold-medal game Sunday morning — Tuesday evening, was probably the most uplifting news Bulls fans have heard all summer.

Minus a short video posted to his Facebook page in July, the NBA’s youngest league MVP has been virtually silent since that fateful afternoon when he tore his ACL in the opening game of the 2012 playoffs. In an exclusive, wide-ranging interview with CSNChicago.com last month in Los Angeles (where the All-Star point guard spends the majority of his summers), Rose talked about the injury, his recovery and a variety of other topics.
