USF’s Victor Rudd to Test NBA Waters
University of South Florida sophomore swingman Victor Rudd Jr. announced Monday that he’s submitting his name for early entry into the NBA draft. Rudd, a 6-foot-7, 208-pounder who averaged 9.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in his only season with the Bulls, spoke about his plans with his family and USF coach Stan Heath.
Rudd will not hire an agent, leaving the door open for his return. He has two more seasons of eligibility. The deadline for removing his name from draft consideration is April 10.
“I want to test the waters and see how I might do in the draft,” Rudd said in a statement released by USF.
