Scott: Cavs Believe They can Comeback

It marks the fifth time this season the Cavs (13-17) have come back from 11 or more points to win. They trailed by as many as 17 points late in the third quarter Tuesday night.
“All I know is we have a bunch of guys in the locker room that believe we can win games even when we are down in the fourth quarter,” said coach Byron Scott, whose club overcame its biggest deficit since March 5, 2010, when it rallied from 21 down also against the Pistons. “We still have a belief in ourselves that id there is still time on the clock, we have a chance to come back.”
That belief begins with their point guard, who won Sunday’s game against Sacramento, 93-92, with two free throws in the final second. (Kyrie) Irving continues to be clutch when it matters most.
He had just eight points heading into the final quarter. If not for Antawn Jamison, who finished with 32 points and 10 rebounds, the Cavaliers would have been hopelessly out of the game.
“I thought he was really the only one who showed up for the first three quarters and played terrific basketball,” said Scott. “Then, in the fourth quarter, Kyrie showed up and just took it upon himself to get to the basket and make shots. Zo was in there. Tristan [Thompson] I thought did a heck of a job defensively. Everybody seemed to kind of jump on board.”
