After a summer devoted to developing skills for what the Spurs hope will be a significant increase in his offensive efficiency, Kawhi Leonard is painfully aware he enters tonight’s preseason finale against the Wizards shooting an icy 24.4 percent from the field.

He insists he isn’t worried.

“No, not (concerned) at all,” the second-year forward said. “I’m still trying to get my legs under me. I’m making shots at practice. I know they’ll start falling once the season comes.”

Significantly, Gregg Popovich swears he isn’t worried, either, tossing off the suggestion of concern with a one-word answer: “No.”
