Philadelphia 76ers forward Elton Brand will miss the team’s next two games due to a nagging right thumb injury.The 32-year-old has played limited minutes since suffering the injury earlier this month in a loss to the Miami Heat, when he got his thumb caught in a jersey.Brand is averaging 10.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game this season and could return for Philadelphia’s game in Detroit on Feb. 29.
