Sixers G Williams cools situation with gunman
Philadelphia 76ers guard Lou Williams was able to avoid a confrontation with a gunman on Christmas Eve.
Williams said a man knocked on the window of his car and pointed a gun at him at a stop sign.
Fortunately for Williams, the man recognized the player and praised him for his work in the community.
Williams said the man did all the talking and they reached an agreement to end the incident by buying him a meal at McDonald’s.
The 25-year-old Williams is in his seventh season with Philadelphia. He scored 25 points in Monday night’s loss at Portland.
