The Nuggets got their guy. Now they got their other guy.

Almost a week after they re-signed Nene, the Nuggets and Arron Afflalo agreed on terms of a new contract — for five years and as much as $43 million, an NBA source said — that will keep one of the league’s budding shooting guards in Denver.

Afflalo, 26, averaged 12.6 points last season while showcasing gritty defense and intensity. Nuggets coach George Karl has called Afflalo one of the favorite players he’s ever coached.
