Memphis Grizzlies free-agent forward Shane Battier is still leaning toward signing with the Heat, a league source said. Battier wants to contend for a championship, and the Heat have long targeted him as a possible addition.

“I may have some interesting news [Thursday],” Battier tweeted Wednesday night. “But I need a full night’s sleep first.”
