Jeremy Lin has received a multi-year offer sheet from the Houston Rockets, according to sources close to the situation. Lin, who is a restricted free agent, met with Rockets brass today and will consider signing the offer sheet in the coming days.

The contract will be backloaded and structured similarly to the “poison pill” deal that Houston offered to Chicago Bulls’ restricted free agent Omer Asik. Lin would make $5 million in year one, $5.2 million in year two and then his salary would increase significantly in year three, according to sources close to the situation.
