Source: Travis Outlaw to Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have been awarded former New Jersey Nets forward Travis Outlaw after placing the highest bid in the NBA’s amnesty waiver process, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
After Nets coach Avery Johnson pushed for his signing a year ago, Outlaw received a five-year, $35 million free-agent deal, but never delivered the type of production that warranted the contract. New Jersey used the amnesty clause to waive him.
