Sources: Bogut to Warriors is Just ‘Hype’
Warriors power forward David Lee played the first five seasons of his career in New York, where every trade deadline included a plethora of rumors and reports about potential moves.
“You think you’re going to get traded four or five times every single deadline,” Lee said. “I learned to ignore it, and I think other guys are doing the same thing, because we really have no control.”
The Warriors have become big trade scuttlebutt themselves this season, being mentioned in discussions about Orlando’s Dwight Howard, New Orleans’ Chris Kaman and New Jersey’s Brook Lopez. Warriors sources said the buzz about Milwaukee’s Andrew Bogut is “nothing more than hype.”
