Sources: Tom Penn Joins Magic GM List

There’s a sixth name on the Orlando Magic’s list of general manager candidates: former Portland Trail Blazers executive Tom Penn, three league sources told CBSSports.com.

Penn, the Blazers’ salary-cap expert under then-GM Kevin Pritchard before both were fired in rapid succession ahead of the 2010 draft, was among those who recently interviewed for the Magic job. Penn has been working for ESPN as an NBA analyst. Pritchard is an executive with the Indiana Pacers.
