Spurs G Ginobili to return Saturday vs. Nets
San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili will return to the lineup on Saturday in New Jersey after missing more than a month a broken left hand.Ginobili was hurt Jan. 2 in the fifth game of the season when he reached in and fouled Minnesota’s Anthony Tolliver.The 34-year-old was averaging 17.4 points per game when he suffered the injury.Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said that Ginobili’s minutes would be “not many” and wasn’t sure if he would start.”I think at the beginning I’m not going to play 30 minutes come back slowly. I mean I wasn’t in great shape even before the surgery, so not going to be now,” Ginoboli said on Friday.The Spurs are currently riding a six-game winning streak.
