Spurs’ Tony Parker Out with Triceps Injury

The Spurs will close out their rodeo road trip without leading scorer and MVP candidate point guard Tony Parker, scratched from tonight’s game against the Suns with a right triceps contusion.

Parker suffered the injury during Thursday’s 116-90 trouncing of the Clippers at Staples Center in Los Angeles, during which he scored 31 points in 28 minutes and sat out the fourth period.

Though he played through the injury in Friday’s 107-101 overtime loss to the Warriors in Oakland, it was clear it bothered him.
