Suns’ Gentry: ‘We’re not going to give up’
As much as the Suns would like to shrug off their title as one of the league’s more notable improvement projects, their inability to nail down a starting five that works keeps stunting their progress.
Five-game losing skids, like the one they’re currently caught in, don’t help, either, and there still seems to be more questions than answers in a 7-13 start.
“We’re not going to give up,” coach Alvin Gentry said. “We’re not going to give in. We’re gonna keep trying to put a combination of guys out there until we figure it out.”
“There are a whole lot of combinations that you can stick out there,” he said. “We’re just gonna keep trying to do that until we find one that works, that we like and that we feel comfortable with.”
