Tell us: How good was Reggie Miller?
By Reid Cherner, USA TODAY
When Reggie Miller is inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, one of the best shooters of all-time will take his place among the greats.
But just calling him a shooter doesn’t do justice to a man who was one of the greatest entertainers in any profession.
Whether he was hitting a three-pointer coming off a screen or giving the choke sign to Spike Lee, Miller was always worth the price of admission.
“If you had to go to battle with one guy and you wanted the ball in one guy’s hands, Reggie Miller was the guy who embraced the great moments,” said Golden State coach and former Miller teammate Mark Jackson. “When you take Michael Jordan and you take Kobe Bryant out of the discussion, he’s as good as any (shooting) guard that has ever played the game.”
High praise indeed. Where do you rank Miller?
While we wait on all the kudos, here is some good work by some good people that we might have missed while sleeping or wondering whether we’re were wrong about the Cowboys.
