Temple forward Michael Eric is expected to be sidelined for six weeks due to a knee injury.
Eric, the leading rebounder in the Atlantic 10 Conference, suffered a patella injury last week.
He injured the same knee last season, forcing him to sit out the final 10 games.
Eric is averaging 10.5 points and 11.3 rebounds for the Owls (3-2).
